Similar to a traditional “small business, agricultural or cooperative development centers,” DCDC conducts various economic, small business, non-profit, grant development, agricultural and cooperative development management and technical assistance as follows:

Navajo Farmers & Ranchers Financial and Business Technical Assistance
Diné Community Development Corporation (DCDC) recognizes the importance and need to expand and provide additional business assistance with technical support and agricultural education with business assistance to Navajo farmers and ranchers on the reservation. DCDC provides the vehicle through which established and emerging Navajo farmers and ranchers can receive free financial and technical assistance, and agricultural or farming organizations will be provided capacity building and
- COVID-19 Agricultural, Business & Financial Resources.
- The use of traditional Navajo business and financial principles.
- Long range of agriculture, farming, business, and economic principles.
- The use of proven management and financial assistance programs.
- Providing business management and technical assistance to the Navajo farmers and ranchers that were being negatively endured by COVID-19.
DCDC's Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
Diné Community Development Corporation’s Revolving Loan Fund Program (DCDCRLFP) was founded in 2021 as a low interest revolving fund program based on the Navajo Nation to assist Navajo and Native American entrepreneurs and agripreneurs who may not have access to traditional funding and would not otherwise be able to borrow small business funding.
The DCDC Revolving Loan Fund (DCDCRLFP) is a non-profit, community development fund that provides loans and technical support to Navajo and Native American-owned for-profit enterprises for the purpose of expansion, re-location, or start-up. DCDC’s loan program is mission-based and will assist Diné small business owners residing on the Navajo Nation within Apache County to start or expand a for-profit business and non-profit organization of five (5) employees or less.

DCDC's Small Business Workshops
Provide ONABEN’s Indianpreneurship® & Oweesta’s Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families workshops training in 2020, so Navajo community members will be eligible to apply for the DCDC’s RLF to start or expand their home-based or small businesses on the Navajo Nation.
Navajo Business Incubator Business Plan Project
The business plan will be used to secure funding for the development of a business incubator program and facility within the centralized area of the Navajo Nation.
Navajo Artisan Cooperative Feasibility Study & Business Plan Project
The feasibility study and business plan will be used to develop an artisan cooperative program where Diné/Native American emerging entrepreneurs and artists can receive pro-active, value-added support, and access to critical tools, information, education, mentoring, contacts, resources, and capital that might otherwise be unaffordable, or inaccessible. The objectives of establishing a Native American Artisan Cooperative is to assist in the demand and need by artists for readily-accessible cooperative services and program within the Navajo Nation, to enhance the education and cooperative development skills that are desired of artists, and provide services and support that are valuable to artists in the development and marketing of their crafts.
Navajo Hemp Feasibility Study & Business Plan
DCDC is proposing the development of a reservation-based Navajo hemp business project since there are production opportunities for Diné entrepreneurs and farmers since the industry is blooming. In fact, it may even revive the nation’s ailing farm industry. Major hemp-based businesses are spread across all sectors of the industry. This includes CBD, food, personal care, supplements, industry/construction, and even fashion, among many others. As a diverse crop, hemp is used for a wide range of applications. This makes the availability of products a cost-effective way for small business entrepreneurs to break into the industry that is estimated to hit $23 billion by 2022.
Diné Food Sovereignty Program
This program will focus on food sovereignty—or taking control of food on the Navajo Nation to promote health, economics, and self-sufficiency. DCDC will work with Navajo farmers to develop three (3) webinars and/or online virtual cooking and gardening workshops to teach locals Navajo farmers/gardeners about the varieties of fruits and vegetables that grow in the desert and how they can use them in the kitchen. DCDC Diné Youth Agripreneurship Program
DCDC’s Diné Youth Agripreneurship Program also includes the Native agricultural entrepreneurship and financial literacy curriculum that focuses on the need for leadership knowledge in the agricultural sector. The proposed program is aimed to increase selected agricultural entrepreneurs’ leadership knowledge, especially knowledge of self-leadership that complements the development of general leadership skills. The program will include four (4) agricultural & financial literacy workshops, economic development leadership training that will assist the Navajo Nation overcome several of the challenges that hinder movement toward agricultural, entrepreneurship, enterprise & economic development and self-sufficiency on the Navajo Nation. Navajo community residents through the Navajo Nation and DCDC elected to take a bold approach in determining the economic future of communities within the Navajo Nation and the four corners.
